* Toll-free (1800) numbers can be reached in most cases, but reachability depends on both the network and how the toll-free number is configured. A TrueLocal number reaches toll-free numbers on its own network (PLDT to PLDT, Globe to Globe), and because AVOXI sources numbers from several carrier partners, your number may be delivered on either network. Some toll-free numbers only accept calls from traditional mobile and landline phones, so calls from a TrueLocal number may not connect. Contact AVOXI Support to confirm the network behind a specific number.

Toll-Free (1800) Calling Limitations

• Philippine domestic toll-free numbers can only be reached from the network that owns them. A Globe number can't call a PLDT toll-free number, and a PLDT or Smart number can't call a Globe toll-free number.
• Toll-free numbers can't be reached from outside the Philippines.

Emergency and Short-Code Calling

Yes. Philippine TrueLocal EMS numbers support emergency calling (911) and short-code numbers (such as hospital, fire, and utility hotlines).

Dialing format for emergency and short-code numbers:

• Short codes (such as 911): dial 63 followed by the code. Example: 63911
• 8-digit Manila landline numbers: no extra digit is needed. Dial 632 followed by the 8-digit number. Example: 632 8XXX XXXX

Porting

Porting is not generally available in the Philippines, but availability can vary by number and carrier. Contact AVOXI Support with the number you'd like to port, and we'll check whether it's eligible. If porting isn't possible, we can help you get set up with new TrueLocal numbers instead.

Recommendations

• If you need your toll-free number reachable from every Philippine network: get both a PLDT toll-free number and a Globe toll-free number, and advertise both. Listing a separate toll-free number for each network is standard practice in the Philippines, so local callers expect to choose the number that matches their provider. Alternatively, advertise a Manila DID number, which any network can reach.
• If your agents need to call Philippine toll-free numbers (banks, utilities, and so on): contact AVOXI Support to confirm which network your TrueLocal number is on, and whether its carrier product supports toll-free dialing.

Dialing Tips

• Dial all numbers in E.164 format (for example, +6318001XXXXXXX).
• Calls placed in local format without the +63 country code may fail.
