Live Transcription

To assist your Agents who are hard of hearing, and those who benefit from seeing a live transcription of their calls, we can enable Google Chrome's Transcription feature to allow transcription to appear as a caller is talking to your Agents.

 

How to enable Live Transcription in Chrome

  1. Open up the Google Chrome Settings
  2. Go to the Accessibility menu via the left sidebar
  3. In the Accessibility options, enable the Live Caption option. Also choose the language you'd like to use here
    1. Note: You can also, optionally, choose to enable Live Translation

 

Seeing Live Transcription on a call in Genius

  1. Turn on Live Caption in Google Chrome Accessibility settings above
  2. Take a call via your webphone
  3. When the caller talks, you should see a caption appear in your Chrome browser showing what the caller is saying
