AVOXI Release Notes - November 9, 2022

AVOXI Deployment Summary:  As part of our global coverage expansion, we continuously add new numbers, inventory, and locations to our online shopping cart.  In addition, we released our new Brazil datacenter and enhancements to our SIP trunk configuration settings.


New Geo Genius Brazil DataCenter

Effective Monday, November 7th, we automatically routed all applicable new numbers via our NEW Brazil data center. In addition, all whitelisting information is visible within our platform via our customer-facing KB guide


Enhancement Data Centers and Configurations Details on Existing SIP Trunk Setting

With this release, we now include all new Data Centers on the SIP Trunks Page > SIP Trunks Tab > Select Existing SIP Trunk > Setup Instructions section.

New Service Coverage 

Our carrier and provisioning team has also added the below number coverage to the AVOXI online shopping cart:

  • United Kingdom - Belfast - DID

  • Hong Kong - Port Your TrueLocal

  • Mexico - Port Your TrueLocal


Fixed Call Journey showing Multiple SIP URIs 

We released a fix for an issue where calls routed via SIP URI were showing multiple times within the customer call journey.

Customer Communication e.164 Format

Effective November 29, 2022, all outbound calls must be dialed using the e.164 format for your outbound calls to connect. In the future, you must include the + and country codes when dialing; please don’t add the additional 1 when dialing. And be sure to remove X42 from the end of the number when dialing. Please view our knowledge base article for more information on e.164 format or a refresher on standard country codes.
