What Data Points Does Intelligent Caller ID Use to Select a Caller ID?

Intelligent Caller ID selects which of your numbers to display based on a combination of factors, including:

  • Answer rate - how often calls from a given number are answered
  • Previous call count - how many times that number has already been used to call the same destination
  • Call duration - the typical length of calls placed with that number
  • Call volume - how many calls are being placed with that number overall
  • Matching digits - how many digits of the calling number match the destination number

These factors are weighed together to choose the caller ID most likely to be answered for a given outbound call.
