Using AVOXI on Mobile Devices and Tablets

If you want to use AVOXI on your phone, install the AVOXI Mobile App — don't open the browser webphone on a mobile device. This article explains the difference.

Use the Mobile App on phones

The AVOXI Mobile App is available for iOS and Android and lets you make and receive calls on your AVOXI extension while away from your desk, with mute, hold, transfer, conference, quick dial, call history and agent status controls.

To get started, see the Mobile App User Guide.

Note: Your administrator must enable mobile app access in Company Settings, and you must be assigned a license. If the app won't let you sign in, contact your AVOXI administrator before contacting Support.

Don't use the browser webphone on a phone or tablet

The AVOXI browser webphone is built for desktop and laptop use. Opening it in a mobile browser causes:

  • Limited visibility — the interface doesn't auto-rotate or scale correctly
  • Missing call logs in the Activity tab
  • Poor audio quality

Use the Mobile App on phones, and a desktop or laptop for the full AVOXI platform.

Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Device:  As the Microsoft Surface is an actual laptop computer in tablet form it operates the same as a Windows machine and gives you the ability to install the regular chrome browser
