Why is it important for AVOXI to have you listed as a valid contact on your account?

For your protection and AVOXI’s, there are regulations to which we must all comply, such as CPNI, GDPR, and Telecommunication regulations, to name a few. AVOXI can only process information or change requests from valid customer contact.  This policy is in place to protect our customers from any unauthorized activity on their network and environment.

To avoid delays when making information or change requests, it is in your company's best interest to keep your contacts up to date.

What is a Valid contact?

Contacts are deemed to be fully aware of the company’s security, regulation requirements, networks, and environments, and are duly authorized to take action on behalf of the company.

Contacts are also responsible for the internal end-user support and escalation processes for the company and are best placed to recognize recurring issues, allowing them to investigate sustainable solutions, reduce the time to diagnose issues, and, therefore, possible downtime or unavailability of services.

Why are contacts required to contact us?

To protect the security of your company, and ours.

Security threats are increasingly sophisticated and may include phishing attempts, social engineering, or disgruntled employees with malicious intent – to name a few. To ensure legitimate requests are dealt with promptly, it is imperative that requests come from appropriate authorized contacts within your organization.

How do I update the contact list for my company?

Ask your company’s authorized technical contact to email our service address (service@avoxi.com) to request adding you as a contact on the account.

The email should state the company name, and include your:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Job title
  • Direct telephone number
  • Mobile number

Alternatively, your company’s primary contact can share the login details with all valid contacts and cases can be opened directly through our user interface.

If your company’s primary contact has left the organization or is unavailable, an alternative contact on the account can request to add a new contact by emailing service@avoxi.com and cc the primary contact on the email. Please include the below details in your request.

The email should state the company name, and include your and the primary contact:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Job title
  • Direct telephone number
  • Mobile number

If there are other circumstances not outlined above, contact the Account Manager assigned to your account and they can assist you.
