Documentation Requirement - Letter of Intent - Germany

Letter of Intent, LOI, can also be referred to as a Letter of Authority. The Purpose of an LOI is to describe the reason for acquiring the number and the use behind it. 


The in-country regulator requires the following information in the LOI.  Using your Company Letterhead, please fill out a letter with the following content:

  • Company name
  • Authorized Contact details
  • The service description for the number
  • What type of service will be provided by the customer with the German phone number? i.e. customer service, conferencing, etc.
  • How will customers be informed about the assigned German phone number? Via directory listing? i.e. Published on a website, printed on a billboard, etc.
  • Will websites be used to publish the phone number(s)? If yes, which websites will be used and who is the operator of those websites?
  • Title and name of authorized signatory, e.g., CEO, CFO
  • Signature of authorized signatory
  • Company stamp, if available
  • The following questions must be answered:
    • What type of service will be provided by the customer with the German phone number? i.e. customer service, conferencing, etc.
    • How will customers be informed about the assigned German phone number? Via directory listing? i.e. Published on a website, printed on a billboard, etc.
    • Will websites be used to publish the phone numbers? If yes, which websites will be used and who is the operator of those websites?

  • Fill in the blue highlighted fields—completely replace each field with your own information. If a field is not highlighted, don’t change it.
  • If you don't have your AVOXI Number yet you can remove that
  • Have the documents signed by an authorized signatory of the Sender.
